Light a fire for lacrosse this winter with our Spark Lacrosse Clinics! This clinic series is for players of any gender that are 6-9 years old and covers introductory to intermediate skills. Sticks will be provided for use, but you are encouraged to bring your own if you have one. No pads are required as tennis balls will be used and there will be no checking. Topics covered will include technical fundamentals such as passing, catching, and scooping along with team concepts such as give-and-go’s and help defense.
Spark clinics are directed by Charlie Edwards. Charlie has been coaching lacrosse for over 13 years, including the past 6 as the Boys Varsity Head Coach at Amherst-Pelham Regional HS. He is a Level 1 certified coach by both US Lacrosse and USBOXLA and loves to share North America’s original game!
Session 1: Mondays Oct 26 – Nov 16
Session 2: Mondays Nov 23 – Dec 14
Session 3: Mondays Jan 4 – Jan 25
Session 4: Mondays Feb 1 – Mar 1 (no class Feb 15)
Time: 5pm-6pm
Ages: 6 – 9 years old
Cost: $100 per session (includes four 55-minute classes)
Clinic is limited to the first 14 players to sign up and will be held on our Small Field (walled).
*We want all young kids who are excited to play to be able to get on the field. Limited scholarships are available, contact us for more information.
Stoke your child’s passion for Lacrosse with our Ignite Clinics! This clinic series will have separate pods for boys and girls to build skills unique to their respective games. Full pads will be required for boys and goggles will be required for girls. Limited gear is available if needed.
Topics covered will include fundamental techniques of ball control and defense as well as tactical concepts including fast breaks and two-man games.
Ignite clinics are directed by Charlie Edwards. Charlie has been coaching lacrosse for over 14 years, including the past 7 as the Boys Varsity Head Coach at Amherst-Pelham Regional HS. He is a Level 1 certified coach by both US Lacrosse and USBOXLA and loves to share North America’s original game!
