A bad first touch turns a good pass into a scramble.
A good first touch makes the game look easy.
This clinic is about choosing the second option.
The First Touch Clinic is for players who are tired of the ball bouncing three feet away, getting poked by a defender, or hearing their coach yell “SETTLE!” from across the field.
We’ll focus on controlling the ball cleanly and purposefully—so players can receive under pressure, keep possession, and actually do something smart with their next touch.
Led by active college-level players who rely on their first touch to survive real games, this clinic keeps things practical, fast, and game-real (no cones standing in politely).
What we’ll work on:
- Receiving with different surfaces (inside, outside, sole, thigh—yes, all of them)
- First touch away from pressure, not into it
- Controlling balls in the air and on the ground
- Setting up the next pass, shot, or move with intent
- Playing faster by thinking less (the good kind)
If your player wants more time on the ball—and fewer panic touches—this clinic is for them.
Cost: $124 per session (includes four 55-minute classes and a T-shirt)
