When are you open? We run November through April. We operate out of the Three County Fairgrounds, which means when the fair wants their building back in the spring, we pack up and go home. We reopen each fall — typically late October — and announce the date on our website and mailing list. Join the email list and you’ll be the first to know.
Where are you located? 54 Old Ferry Road, Northampton, MA 01060. We’re on the Three County Fairgrounds — there’s plenty of parking.
What are your hours? It depends on what’s scheduled. On active nights we’re typically open from mid-afternoon through midnight, but hours shift throughout the season. The best way to know if we’re open on a specific day is to check the daily schedule or give us a call.
How do I reach you? Call or text us at 413.587.9797, or email [email protected]. We’re real people. We pick up.
Do you offer summer programs? No. We close in April and don’t reopen until fall. We operate out of the Three County Fairgrounds, which limits us to an indoor winter season. For summer soccer in the area, there are regular pickup games at Sheldon Field in Northampton (check the Sheldon Appreciation Association on Facebook — Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings) and at Florence Fields. For youth programs, check with your local soccer club for summer options.
What sports do you offer? Soccer is our bread and butter. We also run pickleball, volleyball, box lacrosse, dodgeball, and ultimate frisbee depending on the season. Youth and adult programming exist for most of these.
Is there financial assistance available? Yes. We have a scholarship/discount request form for those who need it. We want people to be able to play — fill it out and we’ll take it from there.
What youth leagues do you offer? We have youth soccer leagues starting at U7, running through U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, and U19. Each team plays seven 50-minute games with a USSF certified referee. Top finishers in each division advance to playoffs.
What adult leagues do you offer? We have adult soccer leagues in men’s open, women’s, and coed divisions across multiple competitive tiers. Same deal — seven games, certified ref, playoffs for the top teams.
What are the competitive divisions and how do I pick one? For soccer, we run four tiers: Green (most competitive), Orange, Red, and Blue (recreational/least competitive). When you register, you pick the division that fits your team. If you’re genuinely unsure — new team, new season, new to us — call us. We’d rather help you land in the right spot than have you spend a whole session either getting smoked or smoking people.
Can we switch divisions after registering? Sometimes, but don’t wait. Once the schedule is built, moving teams gets complicated fast. Contact us as early as possible if you realize you’re in the wrong spot.
Do you have 3v3 leagues? Yes — 3v3 soccer leagues run for youth and, when there’s enough interest, adults. The adult version doesn’t run every session, so if you’re not seeing it, call us before assuming the website is broken.
Can an individual player without a full team still participate? Yes. We sometimes have incomplete teams that need players — reach out and ask. For our 3v3 tournament, we maintain a player pool for individuals looking to join a team. Contact us before tournament day and we’ll connect you.
When does registration open? Registration for leagues opens in September for games starting in November. Returning teams in good standing get priority access; it opens to the public shortly after. Join the email list so you don’t miss the window.
Can I register partway through the season? Possibly. We’re more flexible on deadlines than what the website might suggest. If registration appears closed but you want in, call us — if there’s space, we’ll usually find a way.
Do you have drop-in / pickup games? Yes. We run adult pickup soccer on multiple nights a week (Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday), plus drop-in dodgeball, pickleball, volleyball, and box lacrosse. Check the website for current days and times — they vary by week.
Do pickup games ever get cancelled? Yes. When we have tournaments scheduled, pickup is usually bumped. Check the website before making the drive, especially on weekends.
Do I need to pre-register for pickup? For most sessions, you can show up and pay at the door. Some sessions have online registration — the website will tell you. If you’re driving from far away, calling ahead to confirm space is never a bad idea.
What are punch passes and do they roll over? Punch passes let you prepay for a block of pickup sessions. They expire at the end of each season and do not roll over to the following year. Use ’em or lose ’em.
The pickup I want is full. Is there a waitlist? Yes — there’s a pickup waitlist you can join.
Do you offer clinics for kids? Yes. We run soccer clinics for kids ages 5–16, lacrosse clinics, volleyball clinics, and pickleball clinics throughout the season. These are a great entry point if your kid is new to a sport or just wants to sharpen their game without the commitment of a league.
Do you offer clinics for adults? Yes — soccer clinics for adults too.
Do you offer camps? Yes. We run holiday and vacation camps during the season, including our February break camp. These are popular and fill up fast — keep an eye on your inbox in January.
Is there an April break camp? No. We close for the season before April break. Our February break camp is the main school-break program we run. See you next November.
Do you offer private coaching? Yes — private coaching is available for players who want one-on-one time with a coach.
Do you have daytime or homeschool programs? Yes. Check out our daytime & homeschool programs page for what’s available.
Do I need to bring my own ball? No. We provide balls for all leagues, clinics, and tournaments. If you’re coming to a tournament, we’d actually recommend leaving your personal ball at home — they have a way of getting lost in the chaos. We have thousands of balls in the building.
Are shin guards required for soccer? Yes, for all soccer leagues and clinics. Non-negotiable. Players without shin guards don’t play. Per our soccer rules, mandatory equipment is: shin guards, shorts or athletic pants, flat-soled soccer shoes (turf shoes with soft cleats or flat-soled sneakers), and both a light and dark shirt. Pinnies are available if your team doesn’t have alternate colors.
What size ball does my kid’s team use? U12 and under play with a size 4. U13 and up play with a size 5. We supply the balls — this is just useful to know if they’re practicing at home.
What do I need for box lacrosse? For drop-in and beginner sessions, a stick is the main thing you need. Helmets and gloves are strongly recommended, and full gear is standard at higher levels. If your kid is brand new and trying it out, reach out first — we’ll tell you exactly what to bring and what we can lend. More info on our lacrosse page.
What do I need for pickleball? For clinics and open play, we have equipment available. Pickleball page here.
How do I register online? Head to member.daysmartrecreation.com/allsport and create or log in to your account. From there you can register for leagues, clinics, drop-ins, and rentals.
Does everyone need to sign a waiver? Yes. Every participant needs a signed waiver on file before playing. You can complete the online waiver here.
The website put me in a waiting room. Is that normal? Yes, unfortunately. When programs open for registration, our platform occasionally queues people during high traffic. It’s not a scam — it’s just a lot of people trying to sign up for the same thing at once. Sit tight. It will let you through.
I can’t find a program — did it disappear? If a program shows no available spots or isn’t appearing in search results, it’s either sold out or we didn’t run it this session. Programs like adult 3v3 don’t run every session. If you’re not sure, call us instead of assuming the website is broken.
I registered my child for a tournament but couldn’t add them to the roster. What do I do? This happens. Email or call us with your player’s name and team, and we’ll add them manually. We’d rather get everyone sorted before game day than handle it at the door.
There’s a duplicate account — my player shows up twice in the system. Call or email us. We can merge accounts. It’s annoying but fixable.
How do I pay my balance? Log in to your account at the registration dashboard and scroll down on the left side for the “make a payment” option. You can also pay at the desk, over the phone with a card, or via Apple Pay. If your enrollment isn’t showing up anymore, just contact us — we can process it directly.
Do I need to pay the full amount upfront when registering a team? No. For leagues, we take a deposit at registration and ask that the balance is paid in full by the third week of the session.
I got a bill for a session my child didn’t play. What’s going on? This happens when a coach copies a team roster from one session to the next and your child gets carried over without anyone actually registering them. It’s our error, not yours. Email or call us with your child’s name and we’ll remove the charge. You will not be billed for something you didn’t sign up for.
What’s your refund policy? We handle refunds and credits on a case-by-case basis. Billing errors get fixed. If something unexpected prevented your child from playing, reach out and have a conversation with us. Full details are in our privacy & refund policy.
My team won a tournament. Where’s our gift card? We owe you that. Email us with your team name and we’ll get it sorted. Don’t let it go — we want you to have it.
Is there parking? Yes. The fairgrounds have ample parking. It’s one of the better things about being on a giant fairground.
Is there food or a concession stand? Yes — snacks, drinks, and a smile. It’s not a restaurant, but it’ll keep you going.
Can I come watch a game without registering? Yes. Spectators are welcome. Just show up.
The doors were locked when I arrived for a game. What gives? If you arrived before we officially opened for the day, you probably just beat us to it. We usually open up within a few minutes of the first scheduled activity. If it’s been a while and the lights are off, call us at 413.587.9797.
Can I come early to warm up? Typically yes, depending on what’s happening on the fields before your session. Ask at the desk when you arrive.
Where do I find my game schedule? Schedules are posted here. For leagues, expect them within the first day or two of each session. For tournaments, they typically go up a few days before the event.
The schedule shows my game was rescheduled but I can’t find the new time. Call or email us. Rescheduled games occasionally don’t update cleanly on the website. We can tell you exactly when and where you’re playing.
What happens if my team can’t make a game? Contact us as soon as you know — don’t wait. We’ll record the forfeit, notify the other team, and try to reschedule if time and field availability allow. The earlier you call, the better the odds of a makeup game. Full soccer rules and policies here.
Are you open on holidays? Generally yes, but specific programs may be adjusted. Easter, February break, school holidays — if you’re unsure whether your clinic or game is on, email or call us before you drive over.
Does bad weather close you down? We’re indoors, so usually no. We don’t close for weather except in very rare circumstances. If something forces a closure, we’ll communicate it via email and social media. Our policy: if you’re uncomfortable driving in conditions, we understand — but we can’t make up games missed due to weather.
What time should my team arrive for a tournament? Check your confirmation email — we include both the arrival time and your first game time, and they’re not always the same. The arrival time is when we want you for check-in; your first game may be later. Showing up at your arrival time matters — we need teams checked in to run things smoothly.
Can I rent a field or court? Yes — we have four fields available for rent for team practices, birthday parties, corporate events, clinics, tournaments, and more. Book a rental online or contact us with questions.
What fields are available and what do they cost? Full rates are on our rentals page, but here’s the quick version:
A deposit is required on all rentals. We also offer last-minute discounts on open slots.
Do you do birthday parties? Yes — and they’re genuinely fun. You bring the food and the kids; we supply the space, sports equipment, and a staff member to run it. Dodgeballs, frisbees, futsals, volleyballs — we’ve got it all.
Includes 55 minutes on the field, a reserved hour at our tables or bleachers, and a soccer ball for the birthday person. More info here.
Is there a cancellation fee for rentals? No cancellation fees. If something comes up, let us know and we’ll refund you.
When do you start taking rental bookings for the upcoming season? We start taking rental bookings for the upcoming season on August 1st.
I left something at the arena. What do I do? Call us. Lost and found is near the front desk. If you describe what you lost, we can usually track it down. If we find it, we’ll set it aside in the back office under your name so it doesn’t get mixed in with everything else.
Do you run referee programs or accept youth referees? Refs need to be 14 or older. We sponsor a Mass Ref training each fall at the Arena. More info at Mass Refs.
Are there jobs at Allsport? Yes — check the jobs page for what’s open.
Can I advertise at Allsport? Yes. Advertising info here.
I’m new to the area. Is Allsport the right fit for me? If you want to play sports, be around people who love playing sports, and not take any of it too seriously — yes, you’re in the right place. We’ve been doing this since 1998. The vibe here is community first. Come for the sport, stay for the community.
What’s the best way to stay in the loop? Sign up for our email list. That’s where schedules, registration openings, program announcements, and the occasional absurdity live.
Have a question that’s not here? Call or text us at 413.587.9797, or contact us online. We’re real people. We pick up.
